They constantly have personal issues that interfere with their professional work. They're highly emotional, unstable, irrational. The most glaring to me is that people don't act like people in Star Trek act. It's got the same problems most nuTrek has. I just finished episode 3 and I don't see it either. Its a more coherent season than the first two and the direction is definitely better, but that's not a high bar. Like, I enjoyed the fan service but without spoilers the main villains are really.not great, like spoiler ( ruining the Changelings that are only interesting because Amanda Plummer did a great job toeing the weird/camp line with Vadic, but having them just be mercs for the Borg (again!!) is silly, plus the whole plot could have been avoided by not telling Jack what is wrong with him for another couple hours) and do not make a whole lot of sense when you look at it without the nostalgia haze. Honestly, the whole target audience is people who have nostalgia for those old series with a bunch of rehashed stories from then, with a point to ignore everything that has happened in the series to date. The story itself only holds up because if you watched TNG and DS9 you know all the characters and factions and you want to see them again and the fact that the acting is good (again, aided by the nostalgia of seeing most of these people before). Nah, the only part of the season that is done well is the fan service. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
